I love the overall look of the sword, the one thing that bothers me a little bit is the cracks in it at the base. very nit picky, but to me it just visualizes one swing and the whole top of it goes flying!

I don’t know man, gotta factor in Shido boosting his strength and grace and stuff. It could also just be perspective and the blade could be narrower because it’s super strong, so if you zoom out and assume the handle is one handed then it would just be a narrow blade?

Single edge, hand and a half handle by the looks of it. It's definitely a beauty. Looks a little long to be using it with a single hand though. Can't remember if Rei uses one or two hands. But definitely needs to be in the three foot range to use one handed

It looks like a katana with a longsword handle and guard. An interesting mix of eastern and western influences which reflect Reidon's own origins.
