I adore you Mike! As a resident of Southern Oregon I will tell you that the Law states that Deadly Force may only be applied if one is in fear of their life being taken proven when one is in Their home the intruder must be in the home as well. The saying is if you’re going to kill someone drag them in the door first. That being said, as a former police officer I’d rather be tried by twelve than carried by six. Ahem. This girl was whack according to those who knew her, hearsay but nonetheless the level of unrealistic fear on the tape makes people like myself doubt her claims of being harmed by Shane which is proven by his lack of proximity to her. We also say if something is outside dial 911 as I’m if it’s a bear have the police deal with it and if it’s a potential intruder, hide in a protected area with one’s form of protection and dial 911 because of it’s a human being one would rather have the police deal with it. We have great police and deputies and ultimately it’s best to have them deal with a potential intruder. Unless of course that individual comes into the home and is a clear danger. Then protect yourself including if you must use your personal weapon of choice to protect yourself and your family. I just needed to give and Oregonian Law reality as well as an Oregonian perspective. Peace and Love to you and your wife, Mike! 🙋‍♀️🌹
