that's more of a flaw of the system than anything else. My only and only issue alone with capital punishment is the potential to execute an innocent person. That makes me oppose it entirely. The criminal justice system is already broken enough as is, why add to it?

It actually does cost more to have someone receive the death penalty vs life. I know that sounds insane, but they are required to have the ability to appeal X amount of times and death row is kept more isolated, so statistically speaking, it does cost more to “execute” than get life in prison.

My husband served along side this guy when they were both stationed at Camp Pendleton he was a huge ahole. Her body was found only minutes from my home. We actually passed by the site on Saturday and briefly spoke about the murder. There is nothing there in memoriam of this poor girl. No cross no flowers nothing. Such a horrible tragedy.
