Poor girl. I was raised in a family that quit going to church after my grandfather died when I was 5 but that didn't stop our parents from using Bible verses for complete control & domination of us girls. Our brother got to do whatever he wanted & WE got the punishments for it. I was 25 before I learned the term "Bible Thumping" wasn't supposed to mean literally. It was our mother's favorite thing to it hit us in the head with.
