I am from California and when I went to Boston I had the same question... what I do? I did all the things mentioned but the most memorable was the lobster. It is the atmosphere and the people. I am sure you will enjoy it.

Ber sure to visit "Old Ironsides" The USS CONSTITUTION and have a great vacation. The Boston Aquarium was pretty cool back in the late 70's when I was there. Cape Cod is nice if you make it that far from Boston.

Make sure you go to the North End. Faneuil Hall, Old North Church and other cool places, not to mention Copp's Hill cemetery. Have some Italian food. Get a tour of the USS Constitution. Definitely go to the Bell N Hand, the oldest bar in America.

Just last week I was thinking about when Mike did an AMA around Xmas time 2020 for us Patreon family (we were about 1,000 strong) and someone asked what he'd do when he got a million subs (I think he was around 800k) and he wasn't sure he'd even get there. Now he's at 1.6million subs and over 4,000 Patreon while still doing everything himself at the same high standard. I can't think of a YouTuber who deserves their success more and I hope were all still here for many years to come. ❤️ (Also, definitely going to hit 2 million subs before the year ends.)

My first pick is always telling my friends to go visit Salem! It's the best best best place! Faneuil Hall (Quincy Market) on S. Market St is a definite must too! Lots of places to get your grub & drink on! The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is beyond gorgeous so if you can, you should absolutely go! Try a harbour tour. There’s Museums everywhere too. Just turn on Maps and look for the closest one. There’s at least 60 (no exaggeration). There’s the old USS Constitution Naval museum in Charlestown. It’s a quick Uber ride from downtown Boston. It’s not far from my job at the Naval Yard. People enjoy it. There’s a couple of decent spots to eat around the corner… plenty of parking (if you’re driving). There’s also the boardwalk nearby to help walk off any beer. :) Most of the small museums are free/donation admission. The larger ones like Museum of Science and the Museum of Fine Art have standard admissions fees.

The Isabella Gardner museum, is AMAZING, if you love art.. as is the Peabody collection. The Peabody has a fantastic exhibition of glass flowers used by botany classes 100 years ago, which has to be seem ti be believed. Cambridge and Harvard Square.. go to the Coop, if you love books. Steve’s Ice Cream.. the Harvest restaurant.., enjoy!

We appreciate you!!! ♥️ Make sure to check out Feneuil Hall (lots of "(American) Irish" bars around there, walk around the Charles River (if it's nice out) and take in the city skyline... the Seaport area has been revamped and there are lots of cool restaurants and bars! It's cheesy but it could also be fun to take one of those crime tours or ghost tours :)
