Stabbings are so personal, too. I mean, you have to be close to the person and you're obviously going to get their blood on you. Imagine doing that to children ... and your own family at that. Like, I can't wrap my brain around that; it's just so terrible. AND he didn't even kill them - he stabbed them so now they're suffering and realize the house is on fire and can't do anything about it. This one is going to stick with me. What an enormous turd of a person. And, of course, the motive is financial. Money is just evil, I hate money and I hate that you can't survive without it.

Wow. This one was brutal, Mike. I literally welled up…. Thinking what the little girl, especially, suffered. I googled this story and they say she survived the longest and may have lived for HOURS on that stairway. My God. How could anyone…. I mean- what in the actual fuck. His own family- over what. MONEY. Yeah that bothered me too. The other thing that bothered me about it was the tone of voice. I feel like there's actually a lot of 911 operators I've heard in recordings like this where they sound annoyed, entitled, or like they don't wanna be bothered having to take calls. I'm not talking about operators who are trying to elicit information by being stern or whatever either, that's a totally necessary function of the job. But operators who's very manner of speaking conjures up a mental image of the super raised eyebrows stank eye expression undoubtedly painted on their face for being interrupted during a round of Angry Birds.
