After listening to so much true crime, not many cases "get to me" too bad anymore but this one really hit a sore spot for me. Having been in a bad relationship filled with domestic violence that I was sure I'd never come out alive from. I got teary eyed hearing the audio of the screaming. It makes me feel so grateful to have lived through that kind of hell and that my ex didn't own guns. But poor Maya, she didn't deserve this ending. No woman does. For her family's sake I hope they find her body so they can give her a proper goodbye, and hope that fucker Larry stubs his toe every day for the rest of his life in prison. What a stupid sick fucker.

The audio of the “banging” is harrowing. Sure, you can’t definitively say what it is that you’re hearing…but in your heart you can tell whatever it is isn’t good. I hadn’t heard of this case, and to be honest…I wish I hadn’t heard of it now. It’s always terrible when someone goes missing and are presumed deceased. There’s always a hole in the lives of those who have lost someone in this way. Not knowing if they’re alive or dead but fearing they’re dead…and not knowing where they possibly could be.

Hello, Mike! This was a good surprise, I wasn't counting with you so soon. I hope you're not delaying your vacation because of us! About the case, I'm somewhat confused: as Dougie pointed out, the bangs really sounded like shots (not that I've heard them, except in movies and by bb guns), though I can't figure out why it would be necessary to fire EIGHT times to kill someone; but then, there were screams after that, and they didn't sound like children's, as could have been if the children discovered their mother murdered... I don't know. Hope the trial will answer these questions. And also: we love you back!

I was scrolling through some true crime YouTube stuff, and I just stumbled upon a video titled; ‘The Heinous Story of John Wayne Gacy (That Chapter Inspired)’ 😳😳😳 In the past I’ve seen ‘jcs inspired’ and I don’t know if from a YouTube-er’s standpoint if this is a compliment or a kick in the d cause they’re using your name to get more views? I honestly just can't ever get mybhead around the fact that people think jail is a much better option than divorce. His poor babies deserved better than this as bow they've lost both parents. So did you say at the beginning one of the kids was like 11 years old? If they were home that night of the 7th (sounds like they were if the neighbor saw them outside) then they must be totally able to say what happened. Super loud bangs. Sure sounded like gunfire but then there was screaming after the 8 shots so not sure what that means.
