Thanks Lorna, that makes a bit more sense, I got the impression he was the big boss man in all the fraud that was going on. People can be so greedy. He already had more money than most of us. Selling his watches would have given him another million if he needed yet another new car.

My understanding is that all of them had their hands in the till. He tried to make off with all the money, failed & turned informant on the others to get a lesser sentence. I’m guessing the FBI really, really wanted to get some of the others & must have had a very weak case indeed to make a deal like that- he shouldn’t have got anything in my book.

This one, awsome as it was (as always) has left me confused. At one point, I mixed up the names, and thought that Rob was the informant!... 🙄🤦‍♀️ Because I don't understand why an FBI informant ends up in jail. And I also can't see a real motive for Rob to kill Melissa. If it was because of the divorce, it would make more sense if he killed Debra... Oh, well. Love ya, Mike.

I agree. Why would you wash pepper spray off where others could see you, the whole things sounds like a set up between Debra and one of the partners to get rid of Melissa and frame Tony. Maybe Melissa had found out about the scheme and was going to blow the whistle. Why did Scott end up in prison? If he was an informant didn’t that mean he was trying to expose the scheme?. So many questions.

Honestly this could have been a setup on Debra's ex. They had so much power! And could have easily put that phone under neath his car somewhere and it would GPS. This was WAY too easy to solve. Almost like it was a set up! This man was no dummy. He knew about all of that with the cars and phones. A few people say they saw him washing pepperspray off him the next day? They certainly could have convinced a few people to say this and find a car matching her exes to make it look a lot worse..DNA could easily have came from Debra being she's the ex. And the others that were arrested to get Scott and Debra out of a murder charge too. Idk if Melissa knew anything. I feel like she was naive and was a fall guy. Honestly I'm doubting this man had any involvement. It would be easy enough for even me to get a tracer GPS and even stick it on one of the train cars along with his own vehicle. This makes absolutely no sense to me. A phone is the last thing he'd keep, let alone have it on and travel with it on him because it's a tracking device. After all this crap comes out I think this guy got f**ked. I think an innocent man is in jail and a powerful backstabbing b*tch and their Ponzi scheme buddies played a big part and Debra is free and silenced the 2 people that could of sent her and others away for a lot longer?? This stinks to high heaven to me. Not buying this one so fast because we see how manipulative and smart these people were to rob people blind. This case was too easy and a murderer with a good amount of intelligence like him would not keep the ONLY thing that could be tracked and travel with it. It may have been on his residence and workplace but I don't know if I believe he was aware of it after what I saw what they all were capable of at RR&A. I'm thinking hitman and the phone was placed under or in Tony's vehicle. This needs to be reopened.

The only motive I could think of was that Melissa helped Debra with her divorce—meaning that maybe Melissa’s lawyerin’ helped Debra get the lion’s share of the assets and leave the ex empty-handed.
