Oh and to add a note for context-- Gainesville is like an hour from Florida's death row facility. So sporadic reversals of convictions and the occasional escapee tend to make their way to Gainesville since it's a huge college town (and the closest thing to the prison that can even get away with calling itself a town) where probably 70% of the students prioritize partying over schoolin so it's super easy pickins

I lived through this. I had a friend that was questioned and released; so many guys fit the description of the killer. I wonder if you captured the fear that we all felt, Mike? I was terrified. No one knew what was going on; the police told us nothing. They said that it was probably some sorta Satanic cult thing. Because of the way the bodies were posed. When I say terrified...i recall being paralyzed with fear. Not sure if I want to watch this one kiddo...love ya. I watched it. Awesome job.
