Ugh. I hate this case so much. I have 6 kids and the call of the little boy calling 911 is so heartbreaking when you know he's going to be tricked & betrayed by his own brother moments later.. As a Mother it just brings up so much inside me. SO SENSELESS. Those boys weren't right, you can tell just by the way the one talks in his videos.

Wow, Mike, this one was truly chilling! I wonder why so many of these crimes happen in the US. Maybe because the access to weapons is very facilitated?... I can't believe the psychiatrists found nothing wrong with them, especially the older one, who seems to have been the instigator (I'm not trying to excuse the other, who is almost as bad). Just the fact that he admired those other mass murderers is enough to define him as a psycopath! Let alone what he did and also what he was planning to do... The poor surviving sister Crystal, how terrified she must have been! I hope the adopting family will give her and the baby all the love in the world. On a side note, I'm glad they didn't get the death penalty. Not only because I'm against it, but mainly because I think life imprisonement is a much harder punishment. Have a great weekend, hopefully with a nice weather, like the one we're enjoying in my city (Lisbon, Portugal).

Sorry to hear you’re in lockdown again, we haven’t had a single case here in northern NSW. What is it with teenage boys buying guns, pairing up and going on killing sprees. Is it the teenage brain? If so wouldn’t they all be doing it. Lots of terrific kids out there thank goodness.

Never heard of this and had to skip some of it to avoid details of the kids. There's plenty of cases where one family member flips out. But can't think of others where 2 siblings have turned on their other siblings in addition to the parents.

Umm 🤔 seriously ? I have 7 children and they are all functioning , non murdering members of society.. and we were able to keep a constant goo on all of them . ( no we didn’t homeschool ) Big families don’t produce many killers , statistically it’s the ones that were only children ( and of course only a scant percentage )

I live in Oklahoma and I've never heard of this case. How awful and depressing, but so happy that Crystal and the baby survived at least. I really hope life without parole REALLY means they'll die in prison. Oklahoma's judicial system is a bit of a joke.

Such a tragic case. I hope the two surviving children are getting the mental health support and love they need. All these cases where kids end up killing their parents/families make me look at my toddler and think to myself "how do I make sure they don't want to kill me one day"? Thanks Mike!

Literally baffles me how an 18 year old can get their hands on that kinda stuff. (I’m from Australia) like I just don’t understand how! Also the thing you mentioned about the psychiatrists not finding anything “wrong” with them blew my mind! I find it sad people blaming the mum for home schooling them.. like loads of people get home schooled and don’t end up murdering their family and planning to murder a bunch of other people. Some people are just bad people to the core and it’s not something the family did to cause it.

The Daybells still haven't admitted they did it, I don't think, but at least they will be going to prison hopefully for the rest of their lives.

No I think Crystal has paid dearly, she will have to live the rest of her life with the horrors those boys put her through. Not only emotional scars either but the physical ones as well. I am for the death penalty in certain cases. This one deserves the death penalty. I am glad they forgot the baby girl and she was unharmed. I can only hope she won’t have the memories Crystal has.

I was attending university in Tulsa when this happened. Apparently the older girl tried to run to get help and collapsed on the front lawn. Police said her guts were hanging out of her body. She was in critical condition for a long time. I’m sure she has a lot of trauma to deal with for the rest of her life, but I’m glad she survived.

Wow! Really? I thought you guys had this Corona thing licked, I know when the US was in lock down you guys had excellent numbers. They've lifted the mask mandates here in North Carolina in the states. The schools have been in full force since before spring break. We obviously still have cases all over the US, some states doing better than others. Some states completely going off the deep end with cases but, still act like nothing is going on. Florida is having insane numbers..but its Florida, sooo 🙄 hopefully things will get better soon, best wishes from the US. G'day, always wanted to say that ! Sorry bout that 🤭

I was feeling rage when I saw that. It makes me so angry. My kids are so different to those boys and it’s hard to imagine how shitty some kids can be. The siblings will need a lifetime of therapy and I wish the best for them. Just thinking about it makes me cry. None of the family members deserve that.
