Me too. As a Canadian I view my mental health care as something I had to fight for and it is covered by our health care. I can’t imagine being in America where you have to stay sane long enough to afford sessions that are usually more than a days worth of work. So many layers to social nets like much needed free parenting classes and reformed public schooling but whenever I hear about deranged people I think, “what were their childhoods like, who raised them and what did they experience as normal before they acted out?” The human mind is an extremely interesting and malleable place.

Goddamnit this is what pisses me off. The general lack of mental healthcare. Generally speaking, it’s so little talked about and being taboo and all that. I mean she was clearly heavily deranged. But just walking around anyway. I understand the specifics and not blaming people around her or anything. It’s just a thought I wanted to express. Like.. I would just wish that things like these would be better taken care of while they are not fully developed. Because then this happens.
