Oh wow, Sally Violet, Life has really decided to push you down and kick you, huh? I’m sorry these things have happened/are happening to you. They are awful, and heart breaking, and just generally sucky of the highest magnitude! Allow yourself to feel how you feel, and not think you have to “get over” anything based on the opinions or schedules of the people around you. The other day I read this, and it might help (or not) as you navigate this awful time - “You are entitled to your feelings, and you don’t have to minimise how sad and awful your situation is because someone else might be experiencing worse. No one tells you to minimise your joy, because someone else has it better.” Lisa B is right when she says that at these lowest points, we can take solace in knowing it can really only improve from that point - if only we could also know a guaranteed timeline at that point as well! I hope things start to improve for you, and I hope you take care of yourself because you matter and you are important. 💙
