I can agree on that the evidence is reason for reasonable doubt and therefore in the eye of the law it should not have been guilty. However, he was shot with his own gun. Did he always carry that gun each day? Did he just took it with him that morning? If the last, why? If you do not carry it each day then there must be a reason to take it. Being a meeting with people that can turn ugly. Or a wife that took the gun and shot him point blank first hitting his hand then chest and then head if i have that correct. So two possibility`s , shady business or police is correct. If he did not carry each day. Then the forensic evidence of the laptop, its easy to find out when it was used , at what times. Her alibi rest on her saying she was working on it and the daughter that says she saw she was working on it. That is strange. That the forensic team says they found it to be not worked on at those times. But to little circumstantial evidence to not get to a reasonable doubt. In my view.

My hunch is that she's innocent, even though life insurance is a very common motif in itself, affair or not. And even though the CCTV footage is bad, it doesn't look like her in them. But who else would have a reason to kill him? And why was he left where he'd obviously be found quite quickly? Was he involved in some shady business/people? This leaves me wanting to find out more, which is something I love with your videos, Mike! Thank you so much for your amazing work! Love you! <3

I completely agree with you! However, I also noticed on other footage that it seemed her weight fluctuated significantly and often. As someone who's lifelong nemesis has been their weight, I get it! But I wish they would have addressed this by presenting some sort of timeline for these fluctuations. I'm very happy that care is now taken not to "weight-shame" people but this was a murder investigation. I'm left to suspect that if such a timeline proved her innocence the defense would have brought it up. At the time of trial she appeared to be at a significantly lower weight than at other times so it was easier for the jury to conclude that she was the woman in the CCTV footage. As for walk and posture, that's easier to fake (granted it would take effort!) than weight so I'm not sure that would create enough reasonable doubt for me. Any other opinions about this?

I don't believe she did it, unless, over and above that CSI experience, she learnt a completely different walk and posture. and somehow with more clothes on, manages to look thinner.

Hi, Jennifer! I rewatched the whole video and still think it wasn't her on CCTV. At 9.42, photo when arrested for the first time - fat. At 13.05, photo of the family in Las Vegas, the summer before the murder - fat. At 15.07 photo at Walmart, weeks before the murder - fat. At 22.20, on the final interview, her moronic lawyer talks about a picture on the husband phone, where her belly was hanging, so... fat. The only times we see her thin is when entering and sitting in the court. But that was in 2016, 4 years after the murder. With all the stress of beeing suspected guilty, no wonder she got thinner! And I also think, after carefully rewatched the cctv footage, that it could be a man, based on the way the person walks. What troubles me most, do you know what is? You may find it silly, but it's the lie about the contacts. Anyway, I think all this raises reasonable doubts, so, she shouldn't have been convicted.

As for the case, there was definitely enough reasonable doubt here in my opinion to acquit. Just another one of those trials where even though you are pretty sure they committed the crime, the prosecution did not prove their case. I dunno though, maybe the jury saw and heard something I didn’t.

Thanks, Mike! In this case, I really think she's not guilty, based on the videos from CCTV. She was waaay fatter then the person on the videos. Just look at her ID card, or at the video when she was at school... Definitely not the person that appears on the CCTV.

Tell me why when Mike told me to get ready to roll my eyes to the back of my head, I did it? What kind of sorcery is that?! I laughed so hard at the life insurance section, especially given the serious build up. I also think this woman definitely killed her husband, and I feel sorry for the daughter who now feels guilty for telling the truth originally - her mother will have had a hand in that for sure.
