Couple of things...Ed knew the answers because they were friends. There is a level of computer sophistication (not that I would understand) that would allow a person to hack an email and send from different servers. And also remember no one really knew to look for him for a year. Mike's wink at the end is just to me....lol

Would have also liked to have heard what Ed told the police about how he answered the secret questions from Chris's dad. Is that part of the record somewhere?

Mike, I would have liked to have heard something about why the police weren't able to ascertain the source of the fake emails from Chris. Kind of a major omission. For example, did Ed use a VPN to cloak the origin of his real IP address when sending them? Kinda ruins the whole story not knowing that since it seems like internet forensics could have easily shown the emails weren't coming from far flung places. Weren't you even curious?
