I love this country and its people, but the priorities of its leadership (both public and private sectors) is upside down. Our history of colonialism and continued perpetuation of isms is barbaric. I could go on and on but, at the end of the day, we can ALL do better. The fact that not enough Americans are willing to try is downright embarrassing.

I ve just realised Joy was a chemist so I wonder if he poisoned her somehow which would account for the lack of any blood or other evidence in the house? I know he had scratches on his arms so maybe she fought him as she was overcome by whatever drug/poison he used to overpower her. Has anyone else got any ideas?

I think she was worried he would try to harm her and she would have to kill him to save herself. She wanted the authorities to know in advance it was self defence. That shows he was already making her worried and scared of him. It’s a pity she didn’t report him in a clearer way but he was found guilty so justice was served.

SaGu perhaps he was worried someone would find her. Maybe he didn’t realise that the satellite photos on the maps apps can be years old? Pity he just doesn’t come clean and tell all us wonderers what really happened to such a lovely girl.

Probably. A murderer/criminal, just as he himself said, often goes back to the scene of the crime. Maybe he was doing just that, but through Google maps. Maybe he thought that couldn't be traced, and it would mean no risk of him being followed there. But it is strange, for sure.
