I remember this, I was working in and out of Boston at that time and had meetings so we stayed at the Copely, I loved that hotel. Followed this story because I really felt for Julissa, imagine working hard to get your degree and you are doing a job for the money that you need, but that's what you are remembered for...being an escort. His sister also killed herself a few months after their mum took her life. It was absolutely horrific, They came from a huge close family but this absolutely tore them apart. It still plays on my mind now because the night he killed her he'd phoned me and asked me to go to his for a drink but I was baby sitting. I was still interviewed and they asked me some really awful and intimate questions but I just wanted to help get justice for sandy.

Pleased I live in the UK even though we definitely have more than our fair share of psychopaths 😂 😬 a lad I was dating when I was 16 actually killed and dismembered his mums girlfriend which still haunts me to this day. The reason he killed himself in a way so oriented toward his former fiance was one final attempt to "own" or "control" her. He seems like a control-seeker and perhaps the control is what he enjoyed in the first place. He shot the one woman because she tried to challenge his control of the situation.

🐿💕 Soooo creepy I stay at the hotel (Coppley Marriott) almost ever year in Boston. I love true crime and I never knew that the murder happened there. I also didn’t know he killed himself. I doooooooo know that he always made “Craigslist “ a taboo in my mind. Idky....when I really didn’t even know the details of the case. Anyway, thanks Mike for those pictures of inside the Hotel. It’s interesting how we are all doubly shocked when a Dr, nurse, judge or cop etc commits a major crime. It’s almost as though it’s just another murder if the perpetrator is a brick layer or a salesman but we expect people in positions of trust to be honest. But no, You can find a rotten apple in any fruit salad. Stephanie Lazarus, Russell (call me Russ) Williams, Larry Nassar to name but a few. Philips girlfriend must have been heart sick finding out who she really was engaged to. It would be so hard to ever trust your own judgement again.

That’s a good thing as “normal” (please note the quotation marks) people do not have the capacity to do these things.....let alone understand why they’d do these things. If only he’d used the intellect he most likely had to do only good things, then we’d likely not see videos such as these.
