He was accused in 2014. Then Cedar Park got a new DA in 2017 and they re-opened the case. Then his conviction was overturned in 2019. I believe he’s trying to sue. He was an honor roll student who had a football scholarship to UTSA. He had parents who were sick and didn’t want them to be burdened with his school so he earned a full ride and this happened within a few months of him leaving for college.

Hey Mike! Got another suggestion to add to your (I’m sure) extensive list. Major case in Austin, Texas, Greg Kelly. Was wrongfully charged with sexual assault of a child. They railroaded an 18 year old with a promising future. The original DA committed suicide about a year ago and the people on the case were forced to resign. The person ppl think actually did it went on to commit 4 rapes. Crazy because he was released on a plea deal that included no sexual assault convictions and now lives around the corner, released earlier this year. Crazy stuff. Love your videos. Hope y’all are doing ok over there.

I'm so glad to see this case as it happened, quite literally, right down the street from me! Great reporting, Mike. This was one of the most shocking crimes our little community had seen since the Christian/Newsom murders. Which reminds me, you should look into that case! It's actually still playing out via resentencings and requests for new trials due to judicial misconduct during the first trial. It will definitely shock the conscience.
