Yeah- this guy’s the worst kind of scum. It was noted that he was wiping completely dry eyes at that press conference. Initially, the community were sympathetic towards them for their loss, but I believe that they went to a karaoke night a couple of nights after the kids died and he even got up and sang suspicious minds. After that, every ounce of sympathy evaporated. I accept he didn’t mean to kill the kids, but he sure as hell didn’t give a sh*t about them.

I live not far from where this absolute horror of a human being set fire to his house and killed his children solely so the council would rehouse him, my brother is friends with one of the brothers who lived across the road and tried in vain to save the kids, he has never recovered from the trauma of that night, it changed him forever and he still suffers from PTSD and flashbacks, I hope Mick and his awful wife rot in hell for what they did, not only did they kill their own kids they left devastation on the estate and terrible anguish for those who tried in vain to save those poor mites, 2 of the fireman never returned to their jobs afterwards.
