I'm sure someone has already clarified this but I cannot get older comments to load so just in case: Glenn Close played the 1st bunny boiler in the film Fatal Attraction, where she gets revenge on her married lover played by Michael Douglas after he dumped her. She began terrorizing him & his family taking it to extremes by boiling his daughter's bunny on the family stove for his wife to find when she got home. She put fear into the hearts & penises of men the world over after seeing Close's portrayal of Alex, an unbalanced (crazy) woman who did all she could to terrorize the man & his innocent family & caused millions of men to second-guess having extra-marital affairs. Hugely popular film for yrs after it came out.
