Unlike what you said Mike I actually think it would be interesting to know what he is doing in jail. Strange how he goes from this highly thought of person in the anime community to what he did. Also how he felt remorse I believe for what he did and thus did not go ahead with his plan is interesting. Great video. It would be interesting someday to see you interview one of these people / visit them under supervision at a prison or heck call them and interview them.

I haven't commented in a long time but I certainly haven't missed a video. You do such a great job digging down to the meat of these psychos. I love the fact that even when you cover stories I've heard before, you do actual research and present a whole lot more than anyone else I've seen and I truly appreciate the work you do. I'm curious about awhile ago you mentioned you may do more on location type things. Is that still something you'd like to do? I'd be really interested in seeing some of your beautiful countryside and learning about anything you'd cover. Thank you Mike! You're awesome!

Mike O, this could, or should, be a public service video. You went by step describing how he degenerated mentally and physically. I can attest from the career I retired from that when this condition comes on slowly family and friends may not notice until its to late. Early intervention could have possibly prevented this tragedy.

Yes- I read a long account of this issue on the BBC News website a few months ago. As I recall, there was a real issue with getting the RCMP to give these cases the attention they deserve- I read about it with disbelief and horror. Hope they’re getting a bit better at doing their job now.

If you were to ask our community, if each of us know of someone on our reservations that have gone missing, still missing, found murdered with open cases, each will have a story. Mine is the unsolved case of Olivia Lone Bear-Ft. Berthold/Mandan Hidatsa Arikara Nation, North Dakota (gone missing, found deceased still no answers.) Your channel has become my top favorite! Ohhh, my older son's REALLY LOVED him. Such a tragic and unexpectedly grim scenario. This actually made my family question, for the first time in, well, EVER if we should have guns around children (I got my first .22 on my 9th birthday, for example. A tradition I carried on with my boys.) But we were a bailbonding family, and my uncle and brother have their FFL (they are Federal firearm dealers.) And while we obviously keep the guns away from the little kids, kids are resourceful and intelligent and would figure out a way to get a hold of them. So our parenting methods have long since been to grab some watermelons and show them first hand that guns aren't toys. Repeat ad nauseum for the rest of eternity and keep a good, stable line of communication open, discipline, but with love and honesty, and watch for red flags. So far, so good.

Oosh. So sad. "It felt too real." That's so heartbreaking. He'd gone so far already by murdering his whole family in one sitting -- and couldn't handle it, and I'm so glad. I couldn't fathom doing that, or understand how anyone could -- you see him slipping away. It's a shame that no one stopped him before he got to that point.
