Hi. Yes, you can. For this you need to rename nfs5.exe file to porsche.exe, and nfs5.ini file to porsche.ini.Also if you want that Launcher still work for you (config.exe) - you need to open config.xml in notepad. anc change the line to

May if ask you if it is possible to change file nfs5.exe to porsche.exe? Because I would like to play online this game on world serve IPLounge...and there they are accept only like original game porsche.exe due to statistic and also scan of game... Thx for answear.

I used an iso. file I got off, https://www.myabandonware.com/game/need-for-speed-porsche-unleashed-bg9 and I used DAEMON tools to mount it- I copy pasted all the files in your patch into the game folder. My issue is the game launches, I see the intro cutscene, then I get to the loading screen with the Porsche 911 turbo on it- then the game boots me out and nothing happens. I am using nGlide and I have it installed as well its version 2.0, I'm running this on Windows 11. Is there anything I should check or fix?

Hi, can you check this error - https://ibb.co/kxTHF0T Game works fine on OpenGL otherwise, except there is this error when you start the game and when you go from race to main menu. On nGlide I have 0-20 FPS.

Hinted by your answer, I have turned off rotation of all monitors and now I can play normally. Kudos to your works. 👍

Hi. I had never seen this before. Perhaps your screen supports rotation and it has reversed resolutions too. Sorry I don't even know how to check this on my side
