Top 10 Wildcamps From Around the World
🕑 Added 2020-10-25 14:03:50 +0000 UTCCamping, and specifically wild camping, was a major element of my round the world cycle. It helped keep my costs down and in a lot of cases, really was the only way I was going to traverse certain of the more remote parts of the planet.
As a result I’ve ended up bedding down in some pretty interesting places over the years. So here’s my top ten list of most memorable spots I camped while cycling around the world.

Loved the video, Ed! Nice to see a little more of Turkey, which we haven't previously seen. Looking forward to the next 'best of', or whatever you've got waiting in the film tin!

Oh, I've done that several times!

Ed, this really really made me smile. I have some similar memories from a trip I did but I can only imagine how many emotions you feel watching back that final clip of yourself in Bulgaria. It is totally priceless! Well done!!!

And now a video about meals? Yummiest/most challenging/etc. I presume the can of baked beans would win the rustiest meal. Talking of which, I've always understood that as long a can of food is not bulged (because there is gas inside it) and there is no sign of rust inside the can, then you're pretty safe.

Wow! Spectacular story. I'm often wanting more on how you shot the video. You seem to be very good at it.

Great video. Spectacular cinemaphotography! It makes me want to go through the whole series from the beginning again.

Thanks Warren. I was indeed. Bizarrely it’s one of the only songs I know off by heart without music :)

A super view of phenomenal and creepy and dangerous and serendipitous campsites. Thanks. Were you singing "Seven Drunken Nights"? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TE4eFyFALi8
