Interesting. I found Annette Peacock's vocals to be utterly fascinating, and they've even grown on me over the years. The album she put out around that time was just as quirky, but with lots of good music, too. But we both love Bill B., I'm sure!

The Mahavishnu album with Ponty as a sideman gives him a better shot at an appearance here, though still looking like Bruford will take it. Either way I'm happy.
Guitar Channel
These are all great albums. Bruford has the unique prog-fusion style (aka Canterbury fusion) which really comes from his previous band, National Health, which also included Dave Stewart. The prog-fusion qualities of NH are still there, although more succinct. Annette Peacock, who had Bruford band back her on one of her solo albums around the time, is unconventional. Fans of NH/Hatfield and the North, who enjoyed Amanda Parsons' vocals, were puzzled by Peacock (including me).
