Reason 5 (next episode, soon) will address a topic that I'm asked about very often and which I'm trying to steer producer away from. Just wait! Will get busy checking some mixer levels 🎚👌🏻
Also, I'll want to create few fresh drumloops for you guys...been a while. Will put a few thru my SP-1200 for added flavor. So let's put that on the to-do list!

Yeah there was a time when I used outboard gear only. Around 2001-2010 or so, roughly.

So where you just using desk EQ and outboard for FX before plugins?

Yeah the classic case of trying fix a kick for an hour, then getting a new one that fits and it takes hardly any work…

I think we are all guilty of not admitting that the original sound source isn’t right and thinking x amount of plugins will fix it. When the braver choice is to find a more suitable sound.
