From crub to you - Late July crubletter
🕑 Added 2025-07-30 20:06:00 +0000 UTCHello everyone, happy late July. We usually put these out on Mondays, but this time we wanted to go with Wednesday to catch you off guard. I know your eyes keep going to the photo below. We'll get there. It won't be worth it.
It is almost August, which here in the Eastern part of the United States means that we may have afternoons below 90 degrees Fahrenheit soon. And boy, how about those Mets, huh? Are you doing okay in school? Are you going to bed on time? Okay, that covers the small talk. Here's some things that are going on in the world of crub. Including...about 4 hours from the time of this publishing.
The Industry Plant Bracket airs tonight at 8 PM Eastern, live on https://twitch.tv/crub_official. The plantliminary proceedings were aired a while back, we're now ready to go ahead and determine the best industry plant.
The picture of a sunken, demoralized, depressed Randy Pitchford looking up at you from a disgusting Scrabble bathroom is technically unrelated. I went to my DMs with Brody to find an image from the bracket to post here, but I didn't want to spoil anything. Instead, I found where I sent that image to him 8 times in a row and figured it would be suitable here.
The first 5 episodes of Podcastémon are now freely available for anyone to listen to. You don't even hafta give us money for them anymore. If you're unaware, Podcastémon is a podcast series where me, Kevin, and Justin are going through ever Ash episode of the Pokémon series. On Monday we released episode 27, which has us at a whopping 10% of the way through all 1300+ episodes. We love doing it but also understand that some might want to try it out before giving money for it. The first 5 episodes covers up to around Butterfree's departure, with Brock, Misty, and Lt. Surge along the way.

We need a tiebreaker for the next Book Crub! Held in our Discord ( https://www.crub.org/join ), you can join us in our Premium (real world talk: paid) Discord channels and weigh in on what game we should play and discuss as a family next. Right now it's between Cyberpunk 2077 and Robert Cop: Rogue City. You could swing the vote! Or vote for My Friendly Neighborhood and cause all kinds of chaos.
If you'd like more to watch, Moriarty has a brand new video out about The Guy Game. You may not be familiar with it, but you're likely familiar with the game's creator, who founded Retro Studios and was behind Turok Dinosaur Hunter. Come find out how https://youtu.be/b2kfeO6H65U
That's all we have for you. As always, thank you for reading and spending your time with us. Once our personal schedules ease up some over the next month or so, I'm going to gather a few of the boys and make us stream a Mario Party. Wish us luck.
-Chris
