But over the years, the once-illustrious competition fell into obscurity. The fighters who had once dominated the world stage grew older, and the allure of physical might was overshadowed by the rise of technology and augmented human capabilities. Martial arts masters and warriors who once stood as living legends became mere relics of a forgotten time.
Unbeknownst to the world, an underground organization known as The Alchemists sought to bring the tournament back—though with a dark twist. Unlike the original tournament, this new version would be shrouded in secrecy, hidden from the public eye, and orchestrated for the purpose of experimentation rather than glory. This time, the fighters would not be the champions of the past, but individuals kidnapped and forcibly transformed into perfect replicas of the legendary KOF characters.
The leader of The Alchemists, a mysterious and ambitious figure named Dr. Ryuu Morioka, had one goal in mind: to revive the power of the tournament using new advancements in bioengineering, hypnosis, and psychological manipulation. His vision was to create the ultimate warriors—not through training and perseverance, but through a process that combined the essence of the original fighters with new, enhanced bodies and minds.
Ryuu had spent years studying the original fighters, gathering DNA samples, psychological profiles, and even combat techniques through stolen archives. He developed a groundbreaking method to transform ordinary individuals into near-flawless replicas of KOF fighters. Using advanced skinsuits, muscle augmentation, and mental conditioning, the transformed subjects would not only look like the legendary fighters but would also possess their combat prowess, skills, and instincts.
However, this transformation would come at a cost—the subjects’ original identities would be erased, replaced entirely by the personalities of the KOF characters. The tournament was no longer a test of strength, but a sinister game in which the lives of innocent people were stolen and replaced with hollow shells of legendary combatants.
The first phase of Ryuu’s plan involved kidnapping ten individuals for his experiment. His targets were chosen carefully—each one representing a key element of the original KOF tournament roster.

I will be focusing on other fighters in the game depending on the polls that are voted here. Once all fighters are done, the tournament will begin.

It's promising ! Will you focus on just fighters of the first game or will you focus also on others iconics fighter from furthers episodes. I think by example to Kula Diamond Leona Heidern, or recents characters Shun'ei and Isla ?
