The ink in her pen had long since dried, and no new words had come to mind in weeks. Ever since she finished her last children’s story, she’d struggled to find inspiration for the next. It wasn’t just writer’s block—it felt as though something deeper was missing from her heart. She longed to create a tale that resonated with her audience, something adventurous and unique, but no spark had yet appeared.
Her longtime friend, a curious and inventive alchemist named Leona, often provided a fresh perspective on her work. Leona had always been a supportive figure in Estelle’s life, with wild ideas and unconventional methods of problem-solving. She had a secret workshop where she experimented with mysterious technology—TF Labsuits. Today, after hearing about Estelle’s struggles, Leona decided to offer her a solution. “Estelle,” Leona said, sitting across from her, “what if you could see the world through a completely different perspective? Become someone else—someone who could unlock new ideas, emotions, and experiences?”
Estelle furrowed her brow. “Become someone else? What do you mean?” Leona grinned mischievously. “I’ve been working on something extraordinary. You’ve heard of my TF Labsuits, haven’t you? Well, I’ve perfected one that allows the wearer to become an entirely new character. It’s not just an illusion—you’d really experience life as someone else, with all their abilities and powers, yet you’d retain your memories, your creativity. Imagine how that could inspire your writing!” Estelle was intrigued but hesitant. “I don’t know, Leona. I’ve never thought about actually becoming someone else. Who would I even become?” Leona shrugged. “The choice is yours. But I have a recommendation. There’s a character called Rimuru Tempest, from a world far removed from ours. Rimuru is a unique figure—neither male nor female, yet possessing a powerful male personality. He’s a literal slime, capable of changing form and absorbing knowledge from everything around him. What better character to immerse yourself in?”
Estelle pondered the idea. Rimuru’s nature sounded fascinating, and the concept of temporarily stepping away from herself might be just the thing she needed to reignite her creative fire. “Alright, let’s do it,” Estelle said, standing tall. “I’ll become Rimuru and see where this journey takes me.”
Leona led Estelle to her underground lab, hidden beneath a quaint bookshop. The air smelled faintly of potions and oils, and various strange machines hummed quietly around the room.
In the center was the TF Labsuit, waiting for its next user. It looked like an ordinary bodysuit at first glance—sleek and faintly glowing with a mystical aura.
“This is the Suit of Rimuru,” Leona explained. “Once you put it on, the transformation will be gradual but thorough. You’ll feel your body shift and your senses expand as you take on Rimuru’s traits. Are you ready?”
Estelle nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. "I’m ready."
Estelle took off her clothes as Leona helped her into the suit. Holding the suit, she noticed that the suit has a green substance inside once she opens the zipper at the back. Slipping one foot into the suit, she pulled everything up so it matched with the toes and no creases were present. Sticking his other foot and leg in, which went in surprisingly well due to the green stuff sticking on the side.
Proceeding to then try and place her arms through, it seemed there was some resistance to the suit due to her and the suit's different hand sizes. Her hand quickly snapped into place with a pop, and it was only a matter of time before she repeated it for the other side. She then moved onto the zipper. She threaded it through the zipper before grabbing it from the other side and proceeding to pull as the zipper quickly slipped all the way up, trapping her inside the skin.
As the cool material touched her skin, Estelle could feel the energy radiating from it. It hugged her body snugly, adapting to her form with an eerie precision.
She then proceeds to the final step which is the mask that contains a tongue and some teeth inside the mouth. She then proceeded to open up as wide as possible after opening the zipper as the mask currently dangling off the neck. Pulling the mask as hard as it can, she pulled with great difficulty the headpiece over his head until….POP!
Estelle felt the gasp feeling the new mouth inside her. With her friend noticed something missing, Leona tells Estelle to wait for the finishing touches pulling out something from her pockets. Yellow eye contact lenses were inserted in Estelle's eyes merging her former eyes before a blue hairy wig was placed on her head making sure it stayed in place.
Before it began, Leona then goes to her neck flicking a switch. As soon as the final clasp clicked into place, the suit activated. Estelle gasped as a strange warmth spread through her body that was activated. Her arms, legs, and torso felt light and malleable, as if they were becoming something... different.
Her body began to shift as the suit worked its magic. Her arms and legs slimmed and streamlined, taking on a more androgynous appearance. The sensation was strange but not painful—more like an intense tingling as her body adapted to the form of Rimuru Tempest.
As her chest flattened and her hair shortened inside the mask, Estelle felt her identity melding with the new character. Her skin took on a pale, almost translucent quality, and her eyes shifted, becoming more vibrant and expressive, just like Rimuru's.
A mirror lowered from the ceiling, allowing Estelle to witness the changes in real-time. She barely recognized herself. Gone was the refined and noble look she was used to—in its place was Rimuru’s sleek, youthful figure. Her reflection in the lab’s mirror began to shift. Her delicate frame took on a more neutral form, neither feminine nor masculine, yet emanating a sense of quiet strength. Her eyes became a radiant gold, and her once flowing hair turned into short blue locks that shimmered with an otherworldly glow.
As the transformation progressed, Estelle's mind buzzed with new sensations. Her physical body melted away, replaced by the essence of Rimuru Tempest. She could feel her internal organs dissolving, becoming something formless and adaptable, just like Rimuru’s slime nature. Her skin shimmered with an ethereal sheen as if she were becoming something not entirely human.
Her heart no longer beat as it once had; instead, there was a steady, comforting pulse of energy flowing through her. She was no longer just Estelle—she was Rimuru Tempest. But her memories remained intact. She could still recall her life as a princess, her love of storytelling, and her friendships.
Finally, the most profound change occurred: the lack of definitive gender features. Estelle’s body became truly asexual, just like Rimuru’s. She no longer felt bound by either male or female forms, which offered a strange sense of liberation. She reached for her clothes, which had been specially designed to fit her new body, and put them on. The fabric clung to her form, adapting to her every movement including her new scarf.
After the transformation was complete, Estelle—now Rimuru—examined her new body in the mirror. She marveled at how effortlessly she could shift her form, stretching and morphing with ease. Her hands, now possessing a strange, gelatinous texture, could still hold a pen, but they could also shift into something as simple as water. She touched her face, noting how it was still somewhat humanoid yet distinctly inhuman.
"How do you feel?" Leona asked, watching the transformation with scientific fascination.
Estelle smiled, her voice now a blend of both her old self and the deep, calm tone of Rimuru. "I feel... free. Like I can be anything or anyone. This is incredible."
Rimuru flexed, experimenting with the elasticity of the suit. Every movement was fluid, effortless, like controlling a body of water. She stretched her arm across the room before snapping it back to its original form, laughing at the sheer strangeness of the sensation.
"Now," Rimuru said, "let's put this new perspective to use. I think it’s time for a new story."

She found herself stepping into battles she had never anticipated, using Rimuru’s immense strength and strategic mind to solve disputes and help those in need. She grew attached to this new life, the connections she was forming, and the sense of purpose she found in this body.
But as she navigated this new world, a lingering question remained: Should she return to her old life? The labsuit had granted her the opportunity to explore and become someone else, but the memories of being Estelle—the human, the storyteller—never fully left her.
As time passed, Rimuru, now firmly rooted in her new form, realized something crucial: she didn’t need to choose. She could be both Estelle and Rimuru. Her memories as a human remained, and she could still write her stories.
