He had spent a good amount of time wearing his Gordie suit, pretending to be her son, and now it was time for the next step of his plan. Gengar floated beside him, a mischievous grin plastered on its spectral face, ready to play its role.
He knocked on the door, the cold air biting at his skin beneath the layers of his disguise. The door creaked open, and there she was—Melony, with her warm smile and motherly presence, her long white hair cascading down her shoulders.
“Gordie, darling! It’s been a while,” she greeted, pulling him into a hug.
Gene, wrapped in his disguise, returned the embrace, enjoying the softness of her touch. "Hey, Mom. Thought I'd visit for a bit," he said, perfectly mimicking Gordie's voice, the result of weeks of practice.
They sat down in the living room, the warmth of the fireplace crackling between them as they made small talk. Gene let Melony ramble on about her recent challenges at the Gym, how much she missed having Gordie around, while he nodded, his mind already racing ahead to what would come next.
Gengar floated unnoticed behind Melony, waiting for Gene’s signal.
After a pause in the conversation, Gene leaned back and gave a slight nod. With a flash of eerie light, Gengar struck, its eyes glowing as it phased through Melony's body. She gasped, her eyes widening in shock before they glazed over, her body going limp as her soul was swiftly drained and absorbed. All that remained was her skin—soft, pliable, lifeless—folded onto the couch in front of Gene.
He couldn’t help but grin at the sight. “Good work, Gengar,” Gene whispered, his voice now reverting to its natural tone, deeper and more confident than Gordie’s had been. Gengar hovered above Melony’s deflated form, its grin widening.
Gene stood up, stretching as he peeled away the Gordie mask from his face, revealing his true features. Tossing the Gordie suit to Gengar, he smirked. “Your turn.”
Gengar gleefully grabbed the Gordie suit, pulling it over its ethereal body. The once-ghostly Pokémon now looked almost indistinguishable from the real Gordie, save for the lingering traces of mischief in his eyes.
Satisfied, Gene turned his attention to Melony's empty skin. He reached down, taking a moment to admire her once curvaceous body, now just a shell waiting to be filled. Slowly, he began undressing her, stripping away the layers of clothing until her soft, pale skin was fully exposed.
He ran his hands over her body, appreciating the smooth texture of the skin, his fingers tracing the outlines of her figure. "You always did have a great body, Melony," he muttered under his breath, a chuckle escaping his lips as he imagined what it would feel like to wear her.
Carefully, he stepped into her skin, starting with her legs. It was snug, warm, and welcoming as her form began to envelop him. He worked his way up, pulling the skin over his torso, feeling it conform to his body like a second skin. When he reached her face, he lifted the mask-like remains of her head and stretched it over his own, adjusting it until the transformation was complete.
Gene—now Melony—stared into the mirror, admiring the perfect reflection. Every curve, every feature was flawless, just like the real Gym Leader. He ran his hands down her new body, reveling in the sensation of control, of power.
For a moment, he simply admired himself, the soft touch of her skin under his fingertips, before his hands wandered lower. Slowly, teasingly, he slid his fingers between her legs, exploring her intimately. His fingers curled inside, and after a brief search, he found what he was looking for—his own penis, still there, hidden beneath the folds of her skin.

After catching his breath, Gene stood and began to redress himself in Melony's clothes, taking care to make sure everything was just as it had been before. He admired his reflection one last time before turning to Gengar—still disguised as Gordie, lounging comfortably in the corner.
“Well, I guess it’s time to enjoy our new lives,” Gene said with a smirk.
With that, the two walked out into the snowy streets of Circhester, the perfect copies of Gordie and Melony, ready to continue their charade, hidden behind their stolen skins.
