Yes, I agree that Asriel would be more wary of the situation. He's trying to be positive, but isn't totally convinced everything is normal. I'm happier with this dialogue I think. ^^

I noticed both MK and Asriel close one eye as they go through the portal. Do they feel a bit of pain or tingling when they pass through?

Anyway what I was saying was that asriels soul seems to be having some issues here (at least that's what it looks like to me since frisk and mk didn't seem to flinch while crossing) is it because it's all shattered?

One last chance to turn back - they're literally standing on the edge of the world. Maybe instead of audible dialogue, just have it be text on the phone screen, with Asriel commenting on the phone's status? That would let MK respond with some kind of dialogue implying normality, rather than directly addressing the towers thing? [Though, the idea of service volumes underground like wifi hotspots is kinda funny] I guess it feels like they oughta be more wary, with such an unusual situation, and having MK fight that feeling off with some kind of enthusiastic excuse for it seems more in line with his modus.
