I wanna dance with somebody by Whitney Huston
I imagined this whole moment during the day of their first pride march together (maybe Eijirou went to few before), so Bakugou thinks about their love, how they are finally out and publicly together
"Clock strikes upon the hour And the sun begins to fade
Still enough time to figure out How to chase my blues awayI've done alright up 'till now It's the light of day that shows me how And when the night falls, loneliness calls"
Maybe here Katsuki is thinking about how he was before Eijirou, lonely and with fake friends... but he was still "in time" to open his heart to somebody.
"Oh, I wanna dance with somebody
I wanna feel the heat with somebody
Yeah, I wanna dance with somebody
With somebody who loves me"
And now they are going out to celebrate love, their love, surounded by colors and happyness!
"I need a man who'll take the chance
On a love that burns hot enough to last"
Well, I love how the "burning" thing recalls them in multiple ways..!
"Don'tcha wanna dance with me baby?
Don'tcha wanna dance with me boy?
Hey don'tcha wanna dance with me baby?
With somebody who loves me?"
Looking his Eijirou with eyes full of love, dancing in the crowd during the Pride March, together :)
I really hope you like it! A reminder that this project is "public" not a Patreon Exclusive but only my patrons can suggest and vote for the song of the month! Even Smol Kittens tier can suggest and vote :) I'm posting this art on my socials on 30th June! If you can give it a share and help me sharing this project :D
