Tutorial Piece Detailing!
🕑 Added 2024-12-01 00:00:07 +0000 UTCHey guys! Finally got around to finishing up this piece we started in our tutorial this month! It was definitely pretty rough when we left off, but the initial start is arguably the hardest part. I find that once the main elements such as perspective, lighting, values, composition etc are set, it makes the rest much more straightforward and approachable.
File and reference board attached below! :)

I watched the prior video as well and it is almost unbelievable how much difference the extra 3 hours of details made. You inspired me to spend much more time on details after blocking in and shading. Well refined indeed.

Hi! I saw your post on Threads and subscribed to your Patreon because I got really interested in your process. ^^ Do you mind sharing how you transitioned from grayscale to colors? Which layers do you use, or do you apply a different method? Thank you in advance! ^^
