Sam, just out of curiosity. Where do you get most of your reference photos from? I know you just stated that most you search on google images, Pinterest and such are mostly ai. It would be nice to hear where you get yours from.

Really great tutorial on complex backgrounds! One suggestion I have for going from grayscale to color is to use gradient maps. Its very fast and gives you really good control over the colors. Thanks so much for the Guweiz-style breakdown Sam. I have loved that guy's work for years. I joined his patreon too hoping to learn some things and I have to say you are the better teacher. The two pieces you did for this are 10/10 and I would 100% watch you do a piece like this for 8 hours.

I would like to see your 7-8 + hour process video of these new complex pieces your making. Also I luv that you were commenting as you were painting it really gave me an idea of your (thought process), what you were going for and what you were focused on as you painted. Thank you.
