Warrior - Full Process!
🕑 Added 2024-06-07 18:00:11 +0000 UTCHaven't released this piece publicly yet but wanted to give you guys a first look at the process for it! One of the more fun pieces I've done in a good while. I'm really loving the challenge of the metallic textures. I think as I get more comfortable drawing people I'd like to move into mastering the rendering of a greater range of challenging textures such as metal and water.
For this piece I actually had to use a reference for the pose and lighting and another to overlay the armour on top. When you're looking to combine references it's always good to isolate specific elements from each ref that you want to use.
Reference files below for download! The Psd is way too large at 700mb so I'll just include that in the month-end messages! :)

So.. I just. joined and I'm excited to learn the process but a tad disappointed that unlike some other Patreon artist's, there no explanation as your working.
