Richard Seymour responds to listeners' questions
🕑 Added 2024-12-23 06:00:06 +0000 UTCIn today’s episode Richard Seymour responds to listener questions on the overthrow of Assad in Syria, the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson and the significance of widespread public sympathy for Luigi Mangione. We also talked about “normie socialism”, a Soviet counterfactual, and what books Richard has been reading this year. As always, thanks to everyone who sent in a question and for your continued support.

On the next episode, could you ask Richard why the USSR was not a degenerated workers state?

Question for Richard for the next episode: why is the former USSR classified as a state capitalist state rather than a degenerate workers state? The DWS theory seems the more compelling.
