☽ one of many ☾

Just three days after this spell was cast, I was able to completely clear a pattern I had been struggling with since childhood. That is, the belief that I need to bleed myself dry in order to evoke the growth and success I seek. I had gotten into the undeniably destructive habit of giving too much of myself in hopes of reaping equal rewards. And then I had this sudden realization that... Hypervigilance = resistance. All this time I had been subconsciously trying to force an outcome by virtue of manipulating the universe, as if the stars would recognize how hard I worked and how deserving I was and thus bless me with all that I need and desire. Unbeknownst to myself, I had been acting and working and living out of fear. Fear of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fear of the failure I thought I was already undergoing by "not doing enough". And I created my own hell. I brought my own (perceived) failure into being.
I can't unknow this, now that I know where I went wrong.
The rest of the night, it was just me and the moon. I haven't felt this free and this safe since I was a small child, since before my mind was tainted. I just had to lay there and bask and feel the rush of energy I had been withholding myself.
Now, in the light of day, my calling is to let myself be guided from within, be completely free to be who I am.
Are you feeling it yet?
Last night's collective spell was one of many I plan to cast in the foreseeable future. I haven't been indulging in as elaborate rituals as I used to since moving - worldly demands and all that. And I fully intend to make up for the months I missed.
Maybe the energy of the picture speaks for itself, but I'll explain a little bit anyway.
With an almost dark moon in the sign of Leo, I felt Saturn's night was a wonderful opportunity to cast a spell to clear negative karma and all forms of negative energy attached to us. Unwarranted fear, self-doubt, hate, ill-wishing, guilt, self-punishment aswell as everything standing between us and our goals, hopes and desires. I, myself, have yet to observe the effects on me personally - I just woke up from a much needed nap - but tarot confirmed the success of my spell with the two of swords, titled peace in the Thoth deck. It's time to lay our past karma to rest and start with a clean slate from which we may carve out our new, unburdened lives.
I always appreciate feedback and personal observations, so feel free to share them in the comments. That being said, magic is fickle. Some spells will have an immediate, observable effect (instant relief, a different feeling or behavior, instant manifestation) - and some will work in more subconscious, subtle and covert ways. For the next week, if you are being called to do something - follow your calling. What you're being called to do may be necessary for this spell to take effect.
This spell will affect you if you if you have paid for the cosmic tier since the beginning of the cosmic tier.
These are your names in the back of my petition, placed under my negativity absorbing candle. Though I realized today that people who have since lowered their pledge probably weren't included in that list, so I'll see about compiling a more complete one. I wish there was an option to sort by highest ever pledge and not last recorded pledge. But I promise in the next one I will have added every single mofo I owe a spell lol. (This was meant in a casual, non-offensive way)
For the spell itself I used cedar, rosemary and cinnamon to clear away negativity and create a fresh start - aswell as hematite to absorb all negative energy, smoky quartz and labradorite to purify and transmute all residual energy into its highest form, obsidian to block negativity and ill-wishing and lapis lazuli to obliterate karmic ties that no longer serve us. I inscribed a candle with my intention and placed it in a bowl over the petition. As the wax melted, I felt the sensation of something melting inside of me. What, I couldn't say. I was tired and focusing all my attention on the success of the spell.
Nonetheless, I hope you may enjoy peace and freedom as a result of this. And this is but a preparation for what I have in store later. Cheers
