This is a deep cut, but there was an episode of chuckle sandwich where Tucker mentioned how the Pikachu gameboy wasn’t his, and the family member he stole it from wanted credit. Instead, when it got mentioned in the pod, they specifically bleeped his name out just to piss him off. Now we know that his name is Connor, and it feels crazy knowing that little mystery is solved 😂

There was an anime from like 2013 called Pokemon Origins that was released in Japan then brought to the US. It explains the idea of your first gym battle and how they choose a lower level Pokemon depending on the number of badges you have which I think, in some games you can actually skip around and choose which gyms you complete first but I feel like that wasn't actually a feature they put into the game cause I think there were spots you can skip gyms in Red and Blue and they probably didn't think that far ahead yet.
