Q&A w/ A Concerned Citizen #02

Michelle Hebert

I was going to say I would choose to be a redwood tree -- right before ACC said it. Great cynical minds think alike.

Denise Brean

Omg. Just Watched Thunder Road. Pissing myself. Everyone needs to watch it I love The funeral scene. I could watch it over and over! Hilarious

A Concerned Canine ❤️🐶

Swindled

I try to cover cases from all over the world.

Adriana

So do you just cover USA cases? Of course beside your case in India. How about Latin America? You have A lot of interesting cases that actually affect the rest of the world..

Swindled

Thank you!

Jenna cope

Your voice is half the reason I listen to this podcast! A friend had me listen to your episode about Love Canal. We live very close to one of the small towns mentioned in the opener and I've been hooked ever since! I didn't listen to podcasts at all before I found yours, thanks for doing such a good job!

Chloe Totten

Thanks for the mention! I died when I heard my name 😆

Steph

I hope ACC will do an episode on this total psycho chick! Also, when will a new episode be out? I'm anxiously awaiting.

Justin Starr

And she was convicted of fraud. Not really surprised. Fashion antihero Anna Delvey is convicted of fraud https://www.dazeddigital.com/life-culture/article/44227/1/anna-delvey-is-convicted-of-fraud

Swindled

Not at the moment, sorry.

Eric Gregory Swarts

Is there a ring tone available?

db

Thank you so much for answering my question! I was dying of anticipation since it was so close to the end lol. Thanks again for the suggestions, I haven't heard 3/5 so I am really excited to give them a try. Here's to not-so-secretly hoping Ash and Brit listen to this so I can gain some brownie points with them :p

Dawn Williams

Love and appreciate the work you do with this podcast. Especially enjoyed the episode on Allen Stanford as my father went to school with former prime minister of Antigua, Lester Bird. Let's just say that my family did enjoy certain perks when visiting the island during his time 😅

Gaby Pedroza

Am I the only one that laughed for a long time when ACC actually answered the train question? That and cat toe beans were the best parts. Thanks for the AMA!

Sarah

I love this...both this post and the podcast in general. Thank you for your openness, and the time and effort you put into this podcast. I’ve been trying to find “Bottle Babies” since you mentioned it here, but the best I could find was a PDF of an article in a 1979 magazine from here in Australia (it had sooo much usable stuff for other possible content too) that had an address of an organisation that was distributing the movie. Damn near tempted to send them a letter 40 yrs later to see if they still have a copy 😂 I boycotted Nestle a long time ago. There’s a great app out there that tells you what brand name is connected to what company, and the amount nestle owns is staggering. Anyway, keep up the good work, can’t wait for season 3. ✌🏻

Swindled

Thank you. I'm glad you're here <3

Hey ACC, I just wanted to let you know how much your candidness is appreciated. Your responses were open, insightful and entertaining. Of all the podcasts I listen to (lengthly list), I can truly say that your style, content and effort resonate with me the most. I have always been drawn to the morality of the subject and have a deep disdain for those who abuse trust (nothing deep rooted!). You are a brilliant narrator and master storyteller. I see a book in your future....I phoned in and asked Sylvia 💰🔮🔮🔮

Hailey

This made me just as, if not more happy?😂 as I am listening to one of your regular episodes. I can appreciate 100% the element of privacy you seek in your work & this was a gift to your listeners. Also made me more invested in you as a person & entrepreneur because now I know you share many similar interests and thoughts that I do. #relatableAF Sending all the vibes to the Universe (or maybe I’ll just call Jim Bakker-types to pray hardcore) for you to be able to do this full time so you can quit your spreadsheets, travel with your podcast & bless us maple leaf concerned citizens with your presence. 🙏👌😊

Michelle Angle

Thank you so much for the Q&A and for this podcast. My first listen was the Nestle swindle. It still makes my blood boil. Keep up the great work!

Linda

Hands down my favorite part is when you talk about squeezing the paws of a cute kitten 😁 I enjoyed every minute of the Q&A. Thank you for all that you do!

Erica Hogan

Started listening to Cocaine and Rhinestones after listening to this episode. Omg. I love it! After I binge all the episodes, I’ll start on Your Favorite Band Sucks.

Eri Hitsuki

Yes, you did!!

Swindled

Did I get the pronunciation correct?

Swindled

Thank you <3

Swindled

I keep my jeans high and tight!

Eri Hitsuki

Thank you so much for answering my question, ACC!! I was literally working on a couple of spreadsheets while listening to this Q & A.

BohoBeachPeach

Thank you so much for this!! Totally agree with all the comments above ♥️... I second a playlist & also fully recommend all the pods. Push & Buns on YMH are TOO funny and provide a great break from the TC genre. Hopefully you dabble over to BertCast as well 😂. Also, YFBS is the *perfect* levity to shake the fatigue of such heavy stories. TMC is a genius. Cocaine & Rhinestones is well thought out and produced in the same stellar fashion as Swindled. Both are at the top of my lists for production value. He is in great company 😁. I’m originally from ATL. I keep the OutKast ep of YFBS at all times on deck for all the laughs. Highly recommend 😉. Thank you again for all you do, ACC!! Good luck with your degree. You can do it!! Regards from all your Beachy & Peachy fans from ATL and us who are currently stationed at NASJAX ♥️♥️♥️

pammyB

Great show, Jeans! So happy to hear that you like Your Mom's House podcast, too!

SA Henkel

yes please on the playlist. <3 also, holy fuck, this daughters album.

Danielle Gardner

Absolutely loved this! It was awesome to get to know you a bit! These were fantastic questions. And screw the itunes comments! Your voice has something about it that I could listen to it all day. LOL. Thanks so much for doing this Podcast. It is truly eye opening and fantastic work.

Jerry Retherford

Drat, I’ve missed another chance to ask you a question. Maybe next time. Keep up the great work, ACC.

Marissa Myers

Its so cool getting to know little tidbits about you! Love these Q&As and I am looking forward to more regular episodes. You're the best.

Mary Guillinta

At first I was ....😔b/c there wasn’t an episode. But this Q&A was great!! Thank you for taking time off your break to feed us. Lol...

Behind the Crime

❤️ Not a wimp at all. Excellent job!

Janine Botfield

That was FABULOUS!! Adore you even more!!

Caravaughn Frizzell

Fantastic Q&A, CC. I appreciate that you're willing to sacrifice the time and energy (when severely jetlagged) to address our wonderings. Also, too, soft squishy paws of kittens are the best (toe beans!). Please come to Milwaukee soon.

Justin Starr

Great q&a by the way.

Justin Starr

Will you consider doing an episode on the fake socialite Anna Delvey/Sorokin. She recently went to trial. It’s a fascinating story. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Delvey?wprov=sfti1

Great post, I enjoy the engaging content on patreon and can't wait for the next episode. Feels good to wake up in the morning to see swindled in my notifications.
