there are so many female "stand ups" now, many of whom are so much funnierthan the guys... i love Sarah but three of my other favs are Iliza Shlesinger, Taylor Tomlinson and Nikki Glaser. maybe you should take a look at them too. Be aware that Iliza and Taylor in particular can sometimes be quite outrageous !!

If you want female stand-ups try Sara Pascoe, Rosie Jones, Kerry Godliman, Olga Koch, Zoe Lyons, Ellie Taylor, Angela Barnes, Suzi Ruffell or your fellow Canadian Katherine Ryan. (NB Rosie has cerebral palsy, so she speaks very slowly)
