Indeed he is! I do believe the film is on youtube,. I've had a few requests to watch it :) Oh good point! I don't but I should get on to that soon :)

Are you going to watch the Porridge feature film from 1979? Do as you wish, but if you are considering watching Going Straight, the first few episodes of which are worth seeing, I would say, then really in terms of the plot, the film comes before GS, because it's still set in the prison.

Ronnie Barker always a master in whatever acting he did. There was a Porridge movie filmed after the series but set between series 2 and 3 but what I remember it was not very good and I think it would be remarkably hard to find, I have not seen it in years. For me Porridge was maybe just behind Fawlty towers in 70's comedy but right up there. Off topic Megan, have you got any plans or a timeframe for Blackadder series one?
