"Debut Album" Art + Wallpaper [Extra]
🕑 Added 2025-04-02 22:00:08 +0000 UTCI've been wanting to do more with Vesper's band Mastikator, and a parody album cover was just what the doctor ordered! While the visuals & naming are original (naturally) I wanted to imitate the style of early KMFDM albums, especially those that match the red commonly associated with Vesper! (pictured below)
While I won't pretend that I'm good at this sort of heavy shadow/thick hatching style, it was a fun opportunity to stretch my creativity - and pay homage to one of my favorite groups!
(Side Note: As much as I like KMFDM, I think of Mastikator's sound/Vesper's vocals as closer to In This Moment - especially Adrenalize or Bloody Creature Poster Girl)
