Chapter 6 previews #1

I never know very well which previews of the next chapter to show. On one hand, I don't want to spoil too much (especially the lewd bits that might be coming up, like which new kinks will be introduced). On the other hand, if I just show some preview of one LI talking... it's kinda boring. So, I try to show some new outfits, or locations, or such,
Speaking of which:
new job, new hairstyle
Here is Emma, dressing all professional for her new job at the University. With a new haircut and hair color too. You know Emma, she really likes to change her looks from time to time.
In the next weeks, I'll also try to show a few naughty pics in the discord channel, since they can't be shown in open posts on Patreon (and I don't like this preview posts to be reserved to patrons only, since there might be some itch buyers interested in reading them). So, stay tuned for them!
Progress Update:
Unfortunately, this update has been going a bit slower than what I'd like. The Christmas Holidays and also some personal life changes (I've moved back to my home country after being a few years living abroad, but I didn't even managed to find myself a permanent home - the renting marketing is crazy everywhere!) prevented me from working the usual amount of time I dedicate to this project.
On the brighter side, at the end of last month I managed to upgrade to a new top notch desktop and working on DAZ is so much easier and faster now. I love it! This has speed up my workflow quite a bit.
Possible Release Date:
With all that put together, I hope I can release the next update still next month, or, at the latest, at the first week of April. Which won't make this development cycle much longer than previous ones. Hopefully, now that I have a much better rendering machine, the next chapters might be a little bit faster to develop.
Preparing the Steam Release:
I feel like it's also time to prepare the release on steam.
It was always the plan to eventually release the game there, but things need to be properly planned because I only have one opportunity to make a good first impression.
For now, this means that it's *essential* to have the steam page up before the release of next chapter. That way, I can link from the title menu to the page and advertise it that way. I'm hoping that will help to gather some wishlists from all the downloads the game always get on pirate websites.
In practice this means that I'll have to take care of all the bureaucratic aspects of creating the page, and get something presentable showing there (this might mean making some short trailer, plus a few images). I hope this won't take much time, but it's another thing that might push the release to April instead of March. All that steam stuff is a bit intimidating and I want to do the best I can to have a good change of being successful there. Let's see how it turns out.
Perks of being a Patron:
As always, I'd like to remember everyone that you don't need to keep supporting the game every month to get access to the newest updates. Especially if you feel like development is taking longer than it should. If you contributed with at least 20€ during all the time you were a patron, you have (or will when the next update is released) an itch key that allows you to download all future updates of the game, even if you stop being a patron.
Last time, the itch release came only a couple days after the release on Patreon and with all the bugs fixed. So, you don't have to wait much longer and will have a better experience.
Just decide what kind of support is best for you, I'm grateful either way.

The end of Ch.5 shows what the first Ch.6 hot scene will most probably be, so previews of that scene shouldn't spoil too much (unless there are new kinks in that scene ofc, but you could just avoid those particular renders)

Thank you very much for the update. I discovered your game a few days ago and promptly sunk over 12 hours into it. You've made something incredible here with excellent writing, engaging and believable characters, and thoughtful game systems. Even after what I hope are only early chapters in what will eventually become a much longer game, NiF has immediately become one of my favorite games in the genre.
