The Game Show (Part 1)
🕑 Added 2019-09-03 02:04:06 +0000 UTCHope you guys like! I kind of hit a slump on the other longer story I was working on so I started this one. I meant for it to be a lot shorter than a 2 parter but here we are : ) I will start finishing up the other story now.
“Alex will you stop filling out that stupid application and spend some time with your kids.” Alex was a 41 year old commercial banker. The father of 2 enjoyed a regular life in the suburbs of a major city. His wife was a stay at home mom to their two sons, who were now both in high school. Alex had always had big plans and never really wanted to settle down, but as soon as he met Kelly things changed. He catered to what she wanted and he soon found himself in a stable corporate office job. He rolled his eyes at his wife, who never allowed him to take a risk anymore. It wasn’t even a risk, the chances he would get hurt were next to nothing.
“We could use the extra money honey… besides… it’ll be fun!” Alex found himself filling out an application for a game show coming to his small town called Ninja Superstar. Alex was fit and had above average body strength, so he thought he could have a shot at winning. Alex was a pretty athletic guy, he mostly reserved himself to tennis and golf now, but played basketball when he was younger. Kelly put her arms around him and pulled him tight, “I just don’t want you to get hurt, that’s all. If something were to happen to youI don’t know what would happen to me and the boys.” Alex smiled and kissed her back, “I’ll be fine honey, what’s the worst that can happen? They probably will just throw my application away anyways.”
A couple of weeks later Alex found himself in the show’s producer’s office after receiving a call. Alex was excited but anxious, he really thought he had a chance at winning if he trained hard enough, but getting past this first interview was key. He boldly walked into the producers office, sitting at an expensive looking desk were 2 sleepy looking men giving him a courteous smile. “Alex Smith. Thank you for the opportunity.” He said sternly shaking both men’s hands and sitting down. “Look I will get right to it. I have what it takes to be the next Ninja Superstar… I have the psychique, the mental fortitude, the gu…” A producer held out his hand, “Let me stop you right there.”
The other producer glared at Alex funny, “You think we are the producers of Ninja Superstar?” They laughed, “Sir we are producers of Lone Wolf, you know, one of the best reality TV dating shows ever made?” Alex immediately felt embarrassed and got up from the meeting, “Oh my god I’m so sorry guy’s I’ll stop wasting your time. The producers interrupted, “Wait a minute…” The 2 producers whispered something to each other, both of them chuckled, “We think you got what it takes Alex, how would you like to be on the Lone Wolf?” Alex was overjoyed, not only was there guaranteed prize money, but he could get a smokeshow wife out of it. As the papers were set in front of him he didn't hesitate and signed instantly. He couldn’t believe he was going to be THE Lone Wolf. He promised Kelly he wouldn’t fool around with anyone but come on, 20 stunning girls in 1 house with just him and unlimited alcohol. Kelly wouldn’t like it, but she had to understand.
Before Alex could even finish his daydream the producer interrupted, “Well let’s get you prepped then.” Alex was confused, “Uh, the show doesn’t start shooting for another month?” The producer laughed, “Yeah but we can’t start shooting with you looking like that.” Alex chuckled, “Okay? Do we have to go over the makeup routine or something?” The producer smiled, “Yes Yes one of many things.” Before Alex knew it he was being whisked away by 2 huge men into an operation room. “Wait what the… why do I need surgery?” The producer smiled as Alex was already being put under, “There’s a long list.” He said. Alex tried to scream but the drugs overcame him. “Please prep him for the contestant.” The producer instructed the surgeon, who nodded.
Alex awoke some days later groggy in an empty hospital room. All he heart was the sound of his heartbeat as he struggled to sit up. His whole body felt soar. Almost on queue as if they were watching him the two producers entered the room, “Good morning sunshine.” One smiled, “How do you feel?” Alex closed his eyes as he was annoyed already by them, “Terrible, what the fuck did you do to me?” The producer laughed, “You haven’t seen for yourself yet?” The producer cupped his chest. Alex frantically lifted up the covers, where his bare flat chest used to be was two good size mounds poking into his shirt. He let out a scream, “Holy shit, what the fuck, this is insane, you guys will definitely be hearing from my lawyer.” He looked down again, “WHAT THE FUCKKK” He yelled louder this time. “Calm down calm down.” The producer rushed to his bedside, it’s just an experiment for the show, everything will be back to normal as soon as you are heading home. “I don’t give a shit! I have tits! This is not okay!” The producer shook his head, “So that’s how it”s gunna be.” He slipped out a syringe full of pink liquid. Alex started squirming to try and free himself from the restrained hospital bed but the other producer held him down, “You mother fuckers, are going to fucking get it.”
He struggled until finally the syringe into his arm, the taller producer stepped back out of breath, “Alex there’s someone we want you to meet!” Alex could no longer move, but only stare forward as a douchey looking twenty something year old came in. “This is Trevor, he is going to be the Lone Wolf this season.” As Trevor stuck out his hand and looked into Alex’s eyes, Alex felt a reaction of some sort. He took Trevor’s hand and shook it gently. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He said softly. Trevor raised his hand up and kissed it. Alex was speechless, as had never felt such a spark with someone… even Kelly. Trevor was a trendy douchebag that Alex usually couldn’t stand to be around, but there was something about Trevor… that made him so… attractive.
