Heath trudged into the house with his heavy bag, he was finally home for Christmas, and it couldn’t feel any better. “Aw there he is!” Both his parents emerged from the kitchen, his dad gave him a big bear hug. “Missed you guys!” Heath smiled. “Missed you too son!” Heath smiled, “Great news guys! Greg and I put a down payment on an office. We are opening our own practice as soon as we graduate!” The family cheered and hugged again. His dad patted him on the back. Heath’s dad was really proud of his son, to be a dentist and have his son being so close to graduating and following his footsteps brought a tear to his eye. His son had turned into such a great young man.
That night, Heath was laying in bed browsing Youtube like he did all the time. He was watching his usual gaming videos when a makeup tutorial came up in his suggestions. He scoffed to himself, but the girl in the thumbnail looked hot as hell so obviously he clicked it. Almost immediately he was enraptured by her beauty. Her name was Ashleigh Marie, he watched for over 16 minutes as she did a prom makeup tutorial. Heath had never watched makeup tutorials before, but he actually found this interesting. He clicked to another one of her videos, then another, then another. He had somehow gotten hooked on makeup videos. As he watched more and more, it became less about Ashleigh and more about the makeup for Heath. His mind raced at all the possible combinations. He followed a link in the description to one of her videos and ordered his first jar of foundation and eye shadow palette. As he turned off his phone and drifted to sleep his brain readjusted, “Why the fuck did I just order makeup?” He thought to himself.
Two days later he received the package he’d been expecting. He scoffed at himself for how stupid he was for ordering it. He tossed it in his room and went out to play basketball with his friends. But, that same night as he drifted to sleep again he found himself on Ashleigh Marie’s Youtube channel. After watching a few videos he found that her glam makeup tutorial fit him best, He turned on the lights in his room and at 1:30 am found himself applying makeup to himself for the very first time. It was weird, when he wasn’t watching the videos he had no desire to look pretty, but the videos almost put him in some kind of hypnotic state that he was unaware of. After a hour of pausing and unpausing the tutorial. He gazed himself in the mirror. He was glamourous. He was fab. He was beautiful. He wanted to chase that feeling. He could do more.
It had only been a week since Heath found Ashleigh Marie’s Youtube channel and he found himself dropping out of his last semester of graduate school to enroll in beauty school. He was giddy with excitement as he made the final touches to his application and hit submit. “Heath I’m going to run some errands, would you like to come?” His dad yelled up at him. He was really concerned about him, he had been acting weird lately, he was dressing up to go to ordinary places, and he was almost acting dumber. What his dad thought would be 5 minutes to brush his teeth turned into 50 minutes as he heard her son rummaging around in the bathroom. When he finally emerged his jaw dropped. Heath had died his hair blonde, he was wearing extensions and had it curled down to his shoulders. He had heavy makeup on, enough foundation for 10 girls probably. He wore a bare shoulder baby blue top and a pair of leggings. “What do you think daddy?” He said posing for him. “What the fuck son?” His dad frankly asked him. “This is the new me daddy! I’m not gunna be some loser dentist you wanted me to be, like it or not!” He stomped his foot girlishly and gave a sad face to his dad. “I don’t like it, you have a hour to get the hell out of my house.” His dad walked into his room and slammed the door. Heath hung his head in shame as he gathered his things to move out, as he grabbed his toothbrush from the bathroom he looked at himself and was instanly cheered up, this is by far the most fab he had ever looked before, but he knew he could do better, and now that his parents didn’t care what he did, he could take it even farther.
3 years later Greg was driving home from his new office listening to the traffic report on the radio. As he came to a red light he looked in the rearview mirror at his greasy shaggy hair. “I guess I should stop and get a haircut before Lucy gives me any grief.” He thought. Lucy was his pregnant wife, the two just bought a house together and couldn’t be more happy to start a life together. Greg pulled into a place he’d never been before, it looked like a woman's salon but it said on the door they took all customers. As he walked in he saw an older looking blonde bombshell. She talking a mile a minute on the phone about some club she went to. When she noticed Greg she gave him a cute smile and held up a finger indicating one second. Greg caught a huge whiff of perfume as he approached her. When she finally hung up she smiled at Greg again, “Hi cutie! I’m Heather! Just a haircut today?” Greg nodded his head, she was kind of trashy looking but he was taken aback by her beauty.
“What can I do for you today baby?” Heather said in a sweet voice, she had a mild jersey accent from hanging around her coworkers. “Can I just get buzzed on the sides and leave it a little longer on the top?” Greg asked her. “Of course sweetie lemme grab my clippers.” She bent over giving a perfect view of her bubble butt to Greg who couldn’t help but to look. She quickly bent back up and noticed Greg staring. She blushed, it was her favorite when cute guys paid attention to her. The salon was mostly quiet besides the sound of Heather chewing her gum and the click and clacks of her wedges as she starting snipping Greg’s hair. “So what do you do for a living hun?” Heather said as she leaned forward, to cut the top of his hair, sticking her cleavage in Greg’s face. “I’m a dentist, actually about to open up a practice with a buddy of mine just down the road here.” He said gazing at the obvious fake pair of breasts. “Ohmygawsh my daddy totally wanted me to be a dentist and I totally was gunna do it too.” Greg was surprised, judging from this ladies 5 inch pink nails and her lip injections that she wasn’t the type to be a doctor. “Dodged a bullet there, I like almost finished school but realized it would be really lame y’know?” Greg laughed, not only to be nice but at her stupidity. It reminded him how Heath Johnson just randomly dropped out a semester before he graduated. Greg vividly remembered receiving that odd text from him saying he was going to… beauty school? Greg shook his head, he had such potential too. Heather finished up the haircut and quickly rang Greg up. As she handed him his change he slipped her a $10 bill. She smiled and blew a kiss at Greg, “Thank you sweetie, come see me again okay?” Greg smiled and nodded, he took a deep breath as he walked into the parking lot, damn Heather was a smokeshow.
Heather crushed her cigarette out with her right foot wedge. She was waiting for her boyfriend to pick her up, she didn’t have a car, and couldn’t afford one since she was still paying off her new breast implants. It worked out though, her boyfriend Todd was a part time fast food employee and drove her wherever she wanted. As she waited she pulled her phone out to Snap another guy she’d been talking to. As she opened the front camera she adjusted her hair, “Ugh I NEED to get to the tanning salon tomorrow” She thought to herself. She sighed as she heard the massive truck speeds recklessly around the corner, she wasn’t really in the mood today. She opened the door to have her face blasted by heavy rock music. Todd lived in the past he had a really out of date goatee. He wore a black baseball cap backwards, covering his balding head. He wore a black tank top that read, “I’m just here for the hot chicks and beer.” The bigger man put his hulking arm on Heather’s knee as she got in the car, “Babe that top makes your rack look gnarly!” Heather smiled at her boyfriend and rubbed tattooed arm, “Thank you sweetheart.” She smiled warmly at him, Todd wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer but he sure was good lookin’ and sweet. Heather lived in a crappy part of town, had a terrible job with terrible coworkers, dated a meathead with a part time job, her father thought she was a failure, but whenever she’d walk past a mirror and see the petite blonde sex doll staring back at her, she giggled and realized it was all worth it.
