Brian slammed his alarm as he got up and started his day. It was 5am, it wasn’t easy being the 32 year old hotshot CEO, but someone had to do it, and boy was he glad it was him. He took a quick shower and threw on his suit for the day and headed off to work in his silver sports car. Brian had quickly become the face of this oil company. He had big plans for it, and wanted to make it one of the biggest in the world.
He walked into the building just like every other day, as he walked into his office, a salesman approached him, “Uh hi sir, I was wondering if I could get next week off, my mom is really sick and I don't know if she had much tim…” Brian cut him off, “No can do, the mistress and I are going to Mexico so I’m gunna need you here.” He said patting his employee on the back and continuing into his office. However sitting in his office was the owner of the business, Mr Jenkins. He had always thought he was a creep. He hated to see him. “Mr. Jenkins what a pleasure to see you here.” Brian said in his kiss ass voice, the CFO Ian was there as well. “Take a seat.” Was all Mr. Jenkins said back to him.
“I’m not happy guys” started Mr. Jenkins, “the stock is plummeting, this is the closest we’ve ever been to bankrupt and it’s all because of you two morons and your stupid decisions.” Brian knew he was about to get fired. “I’m taking over as CEO.” Brian just laughed, “Yeah? What makes you think I’m just going to give it up?” Mr Jenkins looked at him sternly, “Don’t make this tough Brian.” He said very seriously. Brian laughed, “You know I’m taking your corrupt ass to court, I know all the shady shit this company does!”
Mr. Jenkins shook his head, “Ian will you excuse us please.” Ian, who knew not to get on Mr. Jenkins had side, scurried out of the room. As soon as he shut the door to the office he heard a loud banging and what sounded like fighting between Brian and Mr Jenkins. Ian was surprised the altercation reached a physical level. As he kept listening, the office quickly grew silent, followed by a sound of Mr Jenkins laughing.
Ian backed away from the door. Soon after it slowly opened, Mr Jenkins emerged from Brian’s office, behind him was a short teenage girl. She looked like a beauty queen, she wore a checkered printed designer minidress, her cute blonde hair was perfectly curled down to her shoulders, her makeup looked impeccable. “Please daddy I have a date tonight!” She put her hands on her hips and pouted to Mr. Jenkins. Mr Jenkins ignored her, “Everyone could I have your attention please.” He said addressing the office, “This,” He said gesturing towards the teenage princess, she made a cute pose as she noticed everyone watching her. You could tell the little diva loved attention, “Is what happens when you try to cross me, isn’t that right Bree?” Mr. Jenkins slipped her his credit card. Bree disregarded what Mr. Jenkins just said and did a mini jump in her heels and hugged her new father, “Oh daddy thank you thank you, Ohmigosh I have to call Ashleigh!” Bree slung her purse over her shoulder and produced a sparkley Iphone out of it. “Daddy I’ll send you pics of the dress I get!” She hugged him again, then flipped her hair and strutted out of the office. Mr. Jenkins slyly smiled at his employees as he watched them all scramble back to work.
