OK, thank you AP.

I think that stacking the boxes on top of each other will be easier and will stack more securely. If you'd like, you can always place each cardboard box inside of a plastic garbage bag.

AP or anyone out there, I have a question and really need your advice. I am finally able to use my store room after storm damage repairs. Will be getting my items out of long term storage and will have some cases of FD foods. I don't like the boxes because they attract silver fish and other pests. Which do you think will take up less space, unboxing and packing the cans on shelving or leaving them in the box and stacking the boxes on the shelves? Thanks.
