I would encourage you to look at these 2 links. I heard this same report about the bulbs on another channel and panicked. When I did the research I found this legislation began several years ago. Back 7 years ago I panicked purchased incandescent bulbs because they were supposed to go off market but some exceptions were made. EXCEPTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE IN THIS CASE as well. We require heat lamps which are incandescent bulbs for our pump house so water pipes won't freeze in the winter. When you googled, did you also use the term "Heat Lamp"? They are incandescent light bulbs but these types of bulbs along with several other incandescent bulbs are EXEMPT. While this is government overreach IMHO, I encourage folks to do your own research because some of the info out there is incorrect.
