I have lots of 'old' peanut butter on hand. Have only had 2 jars that went rancid because of broken seals. They were 2 years past best by date. I have opened peanut butter that was 5 to 6 years past date and was just fine. A couple of years ago I opened a can of Red Feather butter that was 13 years old. Since my wife turns her nose up at canned butter, I used it for cooking and melted it to put on bread. She never knew the difference until I showed her the empty can!( So glad I bought a lot of canned butter when prices were much lower.)She is a city girl so butter is supposed to be in sticks. Guess I need to relearn butter churning so she can taste REAL butter. Great video!
