Progress Report 9/10/2021
🕑 Added 2021-09-10 22:30:41 +0000 UTCAnd so it begins again! Here's what I got done this week:
- Made the player character move
- Created obstacles that the player can collide with (not shown in gif)
- Made a foot that chases the player horizontally
- Stopped the foot from crossing over to the opposite side (to give room for the other foot)
- Added "Boo Bees"
- Set the game's aspect ratio and made it consistent regardless of monitor size
To those curious what the first stages of prototyping a game look like, here it is in all its sausage-making glory! This probably goes without saying, but I'm still learning Godot and GDScript. It's been a little tricky here and there and definitely slower, but things will pick up as I get used to it. ^_^
This is starting to shape into what the gameplay will look like. In the near future, expect that foot move up and down as it walks, as well as a second foot on the other side. If nothing else, we get a glimpse into the POV the game will have. It's gonna need a lot of tweaking and maybe even some redesign (that's what prototyping is for, after all), but we'll get there!
As long as we're in the prototyping stage, feel free to suggest changes or additions in gameplay that you'd like to see! :D
Anyhoo, money's a bit tight right now so I'm gonna have to pass on Taco Bell this time. It'll taste even better when I do get to eat it again! I'll see you guys again next week!

Don't worry, she'll be wearing clothes by default. :P If we reach the community goal of $200, you'll be able to customize her yourself: clothes, skin tone and all! :D Thank you for the suggestions! Do keep them coming! ^_^

I could have a suggestion... The possibility of covering the breasts with additional clothing, as believe it or not... the game itself seems like a very fun game and to be able to stream it, that might be necessary, but at this stage, it is almost irrelevant... Other foot? I'm sure you are working on it, or will be, but those are the best ideas I can give to you... Other than maybe allowing the player to name both characters with them using said names in dialogue... That might be fun/funny and I know from experience, it won't be too hard, but again it's too earily for that yet...
Oh man, a giantess AR game... Now THAT would get me to exercise around town every day! :o
The entire gimmick of the game is to make it second-person. :P I wasn't planning on making CG for this one, but if there's enough interest in the game I'd be happy to add it. ^_^

Idea... or well... kinda idea... joke... yeah joke! Make an augmented reality game out of this, so we see people with a Hololense running through the streets, while looking up. :D Other than that, I don't have a good suggestion yet, just woke up. xD

Why not the other way around ,so the pov from underneath the floor? Although that may be too much work. I was actually expecting a sidescroller, but this is nice as well with complementing cgs

IT LOOKS great. So this is his gf trayin to get him right? If is because he cheated on her, I would love to see his lover between her cleavage like the giantess is getting revange on both of them. And has her there just whaching how she is going to crush him...
