Grape Escape 2.0 (The Full Release)
🕑 Added 2021-07-30 18:00:58 +0000 UTCI can't imagine a more fitting 100th post for Grape Escape! Also the 69th progress report... Nice! Here's what I got done this week:
- Updated the credits and made them dynamic so I can just drag in a text file instead of entering every name manually. Much, much easier! :D
- Added the riddle for Spooky Mode into the Extras Menu
- Realized I hadn't tested Spooky Mode in forever and updated a bunch of stuff to make it functional again
- Added a "King of the Grapes" section into the credits and made a sprite for it
- Added a "Mightiest Bug Slayers" section into the credits and made a sprite for it
- Removed the wine care package
- Released Grape Escape to the Public!!!
I, uh... I'm still in denial. I can't wrap my brain around the idea that I'm actually done with Grape Escape. It's so surreal...
There's gonna be a metric ton of posts I'm writing here on Patreon. (In fact, chances are you found this update from the Hub post I'm currently setting up as I type this.) With Grape Escape's release came a buuuuunch of stuff to discuss! I'll leave those topics in their respective posts.
For the duration of August, I'll be taking a break from game development. It's not a vacation, however -- I'll be focusing my efforts on my non-game projects: 3D modeling, the contest reward drawings, and that comic I said I was gonna work on that one time and totally forgot... <_< >_>
I'll also still be posting progress reports every Friday, so stay tuned for those if you're interested in the non-game stuff! For those that aren't, no worries -- game development will begin again on September 1st if there isn't a tie. In the event of a tie, a tie-breaker poll will be made and development will be pushed for one additional week.
Final thing: if you are or have ever been a patron here, please feel free to leave a message for the credits of Grape Escape! It can be anything as long as it's relatively family friendly. (And yes, I do see the irony in asking for family friendly content in a fetish game. :P)
Now then, I'm gonna eat the biggest Taco Bell meal you've ever SEEN! I'll see you guys again next week! :D

Aaaaah, that sounds terrible! D: I'm glad it's getting better, but it sucks that you have to go through it at all. I feel absolutely terrible for this, but I can't help but giggle like a child at the thought of you waddling around with your pants around your ankles because you couldn't pull them up. It does hurt quite a bit... like your muscle/tendon suddenly is on fire and peeling itself from the bone. :'D But luckily there are some good tips on how to treat it online and it wasn't my first tendonitis (programmer's suffering and all. xD). So I am making good progress with healing, I can even pull up my pants again, woooo... the world celebrates. :D Thank you for thanking me for thanking you! \o/ THANK-CEPTION! x3 Yes... quite true... my puns are indescriminate, everyone suffers equaly... me included... you could say.. I am self PUNishing. :'D Oh, sorry... I didn't read it through completely until here... uhm.. well... I can do the resting but I am afraid it is too late to stop the Kungfu Punda. :'D

I can finally type again! \o/ Though I should still be careful with my arm. I am still fighting the last remains of a tendonitis, which is why I also haven't been agle to play your game yet.
