Grape Escape 1.4 (The Cinematic Update)
🕑 Added 2021-04-21 19:55:56 +0000 UTCReminder: Do NOT move your save file into the newer version, as this will break certain features. Until this is resolved (or until full release) first-time startups of Grape Escape will give you 3,000 wine to start off with.
Changelog:
- Added an ending cinematic for that sweet, sweet closure!
- Added another background element to indicate that you're getting close to the end.
- Made non-menu sounds pause when the game is paused.
- Added UI elements for the depth and the gas leak tanks.
- Added drawings in the upgrade lab: grape science tab, gas leaks 1-3, and excavation 1 & 2.
- Changed the Juiciness upgrade descriptions a bit to accommodate new drawing plans for them.
Known Bugs:
- During the death CGs, the skip button sometimes doesn't work. (I haven't been able to reproduce this one in a long time. Is this still a problem?)
- Refill grapes sometimes jitter in the ground, and on rare occasions they may float in the air above craters.

Any time! ^_^ And yep, that was part of 1.3.10 in response to the overpowered strategy of pancaking yourself between the feet in ambidextrous mode. :P

Sweetness, thanks for the responses. By the way, I just noticed the itchy foot feature, was that in a previous update.
With Excavation 3 and Weights 3 it'll be 50 stomps, maybe 51 if the game is feeling cheeky. :P As long as you make it to a depth of 900+ meters, the end cinematic should activate. There's no gallery feature for the ending yet, but that's a really good idea. I'll add that to the to-do list. :)

So then if I were to buy the excavation level 3 with 99 and survive 50 stomps that wouldn't necessarily be the case would it. Just start normally, survive 50 stomps and I'll see it. Also sorry if I'm sounding lazy, I just really want to see this and after playing several hours and unlocking all the upgrades, I just felt confused, also when you see this cinematic the first time, is there a gallery feature where you can watch it again without having to go through 50 stomps again or has that not been implemented.
Lol! That's a big range, but you're not wrong! :P Hint: with the right upgrades, you can finish the game in 50 stomps. :)

Would my guess be close if I say that depth was somewhere between 500 to 3000.
It plays automatically when you reach a certain depth. :)
